I worked in the fundraising department at Parkinson Canada, reporting to the VP of fundraising. I worked primarily in donor communications and marketing. My responsibilities included direct marketing, events, partnerships, and major donor programs. I collaborated with the marketing & communications, programs and services, and IT teams. Initially, my role focused strictly on fundraising, but it soon broadened and overlapped more frequently and significantly with the marketing and communications department.
